Jeff Powers

Dr. Jeff Powers

I’m Dr. Jeff Powers, and I practice with my wife, Dr. Diana Powers. I am originally from Texas, however, during my childhood, I lived half of my life overseas in Iran, Egypt, England, Trinidad and Tobago as well as in Texas. After graduating from university and dental school in Texas, I was selected as one of only 50 residents nationwide to gain entrance to the US Air Force General Practice residency. It was at this specialty residency that I met Dr. Diana. After fulfilling our service commitment to our country in the Southern California desert with the US Air Force, we relocated to the bay area and started practicing in San Mateo.

Dr. Diana Powers

I am Dr. Diana Powers. I grew up in a military family, and my father’s Air Force career led us to live in Texas, Colorado, Alaska, California, as well as Japan, Okinawa and England. After completing high school near Oxford, England, I returned to California where I obtained my Bachelor of Science in biology and completed my dental degree at UCLA. I too was accepted into the Air Force General Practice residency where I met my husband, Jeff.

Dr. Diana has retired as of 2023.

Dr. Harry Tseng

Hi, I’m Dr. Harry Tseng. I grew up in South Bay and completed my Bachelor of Science in Biochemistry and Molecular Biology at UC Davis. I went on to pursue a Masters in Biomedical Engineering from Yale and my dental degree from University of Southern California. After graduating dental school, I enhanced my dental expertise by completing a General Practice Residency at the Greater Los Angeles Veterans Affairs Hospital. Aside from dentistry, I am a proud father and enjoy playing tennis and scuba diving.

I am excited to be part of the team. I look forward to providing my patients with the high quality care and treatment you have come to expect.

Dr. Peter Chien

I am Dr. Peter Chien. I grew up in Suzhou, China and immigrated to the US with my family in 2008. I obtained my Bachelor of Science in biology from University of Delaware and my DDS degree from University of Pacific Arthur Dugoni School of Dentistry in San Francisco. I am happy to be joining the big family of the Powers DDS group. I strive to provide you with patient-centered, evidence-based, and quality oral healthcare in a supportive environment. Becoming a dentist has been my lifelong passion, and with this in mind, I assure you can expect that your needs will be my highest priority. Besides dentistry, I am also a foodie and love to explore all kinds of delicious food and restaurants, especially sushi. I also enjoy traveling, photography, and playing golf.
